, he hit .304/.398/.656 with 20 homers in just 227 at-bats. He was then named MVP of the 2009 Arizona Fall League. Desme would have had to put in more time in the minors, but his numbers certainly suggest he could have made it to the Big Leagues eventually if he didn’t feel the need to answer another calling.
