Too Many "Roughing the Passer" Penalties in the NFL

I'm getting sick and tired of the needless "roughing the passer" penalties in NFL games this season...I realize that the QB is probably the biggest player investment for a team, but this football, not tag. If the qb gets up, then it's not roughing…simple as that. If the refs call the penalty (and it's accepted), then the QB should have to sit out the next play, just like any other “injured” player. In a recent Raider game, Kirk Morrison ran into Denver’s Jake Cutler just as he was passing the ball and got called for it. First, there’s no way Morrison could have let up. Second, how is Morrison supposed to know whether Cutler is going to pass the ball, or bring it back down and run with it? Then, Derek Burgess got called for it, after he was blocked into Cutler's legs by a Bronco. How is Burgess supposed to control where or who he gets blocked into? I know I'm prejudice to the Raiders, but even announcer Randy Cross was questioning those two calls... Again, this is football…not tag…and there will be rough play. When something unnecessary happens, the player should be called for it…but these are examples of the needless pampering of an NFL player.
